Vitamin E 200 from KAL provides 200 international units of natural, unesterified vitamin E per soft capsule.

Vitamin E is not a single chemical substance, but there are four tocopherols in nature that have slightly different structures: alpha, beta, gamma and delta tocopherol. The most important substance, because it is effective even in small doses, is alpha-tocopherol. It is also the most important component in the body: around 90% of its vitamin E content is composed of alpha-tocopherol.

Vitamin E is primarily contained in vegetable oils. Good sources include: E.g. wheat germ, sunflower, corn germ, soybean or rapeseed oil. Significant quantities are also contained in hazelnuts and wheat germ. Animal foods generally contain little vitamin E.
